The DANI Master TD thermal desorber performs a two-stage thermal desorption process, in which compounds are desorbed in a sorption tube when heated in an inert gas stream and focused in a cooled trap. Then the trap is instantly heated and the components are introduced in a narrow strip along the heated transition line into the analytical column.

The device has a carousel for 50 standard 1/4" x 3.5" tubes. The trap is cooled without the use of liquid nitrogen. Combined mode of operation: desorption of the next sample begins during the analysis of the previous one.
